Tryhackme — Confidential (Bahasa Indonesia)

We got our hands on a confidential case file from some self-declared “black hat hackers”… it looks like they have a secret invite code.

Okke, kali ini kita akan mengerjakan salah satu room di Tryhackme, yaitu room Confidential karangan bang cmnatic.

Untuk bisa mengerjakan tugas ini, persyaratannya mudah, yaitu :

• Paham per-editan file (pdf)

Task 1 — Confidential

• We got our hands on a confidential case file from some self-declared “black hat hackers”… it looks like they have a secret invite code available within a QR code, but it’s covered by some image in this PDF! If we want to thwart whatever it is they are planning, we need your help to uncover what that QR code says!
• Access this challenge by deploying the machine attached to this task by pressing the green “Start Machine” button. This machine shows in Split View in your browser, if it doesn’t automatically display you may need to click “Show Split View” in the top right.
• The file you need is located in /home/ubuntu/confidential on the VM.

Inti challange-nya disini adalah kita harus scan QR code yang ada di suatu file pdf yang tersimpan di direktori atau folder /home/ubuntu/confidential untuk bisa mendapatkan flagnya. Tapi, berdasarkan informasi soal tersebut, QR code yang harus kita scan itu tertutupi oleh sebuah gambar. Jadi, kita harus menghilangkan gambar itu terlebih dahulu.

Nyalain VM-nya. Connect ke VPN THM. Klik Show Split View-nya. Gas! Gas! Gas!

Repdf.pdf

Seperti tertera, di direktori /home/ubuntu/confidential, ada file bernama Repdf.pdf. Di dalamnya, seperti yang sudah di-notice di soal, ada QR code yang ter-cover dengan gambar seperti terlihat.

Tugas kita adalah menghilangkan atau menyingkirkan gambar segitiga merah itu supaya QR code-nya bisa discan.

Saya akan unduh dulu ke komputer saya.

Lalu akan saya edit menggunakan applikasi Nitro Pro.

Di menu ‘Home’, ada fitur Edit di paling kiri. Klik Edit.

Setelah itu, klik bagian gambar segitiga merah yang mau kita hilangkan / singkirkan. Lalu hapus atau bisa digeser ke tempat lain juga boleh.

Udah deh, tinggal discan QR codenya.
